“On Sunday we slept in a little bit and got all of our stuff ready to go before we went on our walking tour of Athens, which was put on by our hostel! We got to see many really cool sites in Athens including several theatres from Greek times, the hill next to the Parthenon, the city centre and the market, Parliament, the garden in the middle of the city, and the old Olympic stadium. All of it was really good and our guide wasn’t too bad!

AFter our tour, we went and got some lunch (gyros again…we really liked them!) and then went a climbed the HUGE hill to the Parthenon! It was really great and had amazing views, and we got to see the whole city! We took some good pictures, and then a few of us went down to the city center and market/flea market! I wanted to bring home something from Greece, so I made my own necklace! (Imagine that…more jewelry for Brynn!)

We got back to our hostel and it was time to leave for airport! We had an awesome weekend and got home around 2 in the morning…but it was all worth it! Athens was GREAT….and the people I went with made it even more fun!”
