I’m doing an Ellis Island project and I can’t find any information about Jobs in Greece (where my immigrant is from) in 1910 (the year that we [my family] moves) I know that you are probably thinking that I’m not looking in the right places, and I feel the same way… Please Help! this is the only information that I need to find left! this is a greek page about traditional proffessions in Greece. use a translator like the one in google. the red letter words are the names of the proffessions. i can tell you some of them, but unfortunately i dont know the english names. chair maker, shoe maker, tailor, people who made pottery (mostly the big crock used to transfer water from a public tap to the house), people who made baskets with straw, factory workers, people who changed the "horse’s shoe" i don’t know what its called, people who made clothes with looms…thats all i can recall from my school. good luck!!
