Thinking of Holiday in Kos (greece) in Sept What will weather & ow busy will it be?
We are looking at going to Kos late Sept this year. What weather should we expect and does everything close down or will it still be open. Where is a good place to stay? 4 of us Will be taking 2 kids under 1. So still looking for a little night life.
yeah still hot .. try going for hotel rather than apt. as large hotels will cater for young kids .. play groups so on .. even if they are too young to take part its still nice for them to see other kids ..
entertainment on everynight .
also you can get child bleep’rs .. one on your wrist one on the kiddy’s.
i have a 6 year old son. and set the range for 20ft he strays outside that and i am alerted. he also has a army style name tag with my number on it..
keep one eye on them at all times as safe as greece is dont be the next mcann.. happy holiday

It is the best time to visit the Greek islands the weather is perfect and the beaches are more pleasant all the students are back in school.Every thing is open till the end of October.The only thing that i find a little annoying is that every one is really tired and you can see it in their faces,they want the season to end,so they can go on their vacation.

Late Sept in Kos can bring anything from sun to rain – I used to live there and remember thunderstorms around this time.
Life won’t be as wild as August (or early Sept) but most places will still be open as the tourist season ends in late Oct. Kids are back at school so the beaches will be nice and empty!
Be prepare for all weather – the kids will need a bit of everything – denim jackets – long sleeve t-shirts – t-shirts etc – really Sept can be unpredictable, especially late Sept.
You’ll still have a great time whatever the weather.

I went to Kos, Kardamena, in Sept, when my daughter was 2, we stayed in the Club Akti, maybe thats where you are?
We had a wonderful time, Kardamena is great, we enjoyed suitable nightlife for young people that have a child asleep in the buggy, but still want a drink, while listening to music. We also had drinks in bars early on that had really good nightlife just starting, that we left due to our daughter, Kardamena caters for all.
I think you will like it sat along the promenade, taverna lights flashing, drinking a cocktail, baby asleep in the buggy.

Still nice and hot, not as busy as the previous person suggested as the kids will be back in school.
I stayed there a few years ago in Kardemena and really loved the place.
