There are no full time English schools in Chania – either public or private. There is only a very part – time (a couple of hours per week, after mainstream school hours) English school in Chania and expat children in the area must attend Greek school or be privately tutored at home. Alternatively there is an International school in Heraklion which teaches lessons in English (or French or German) and Greek.
