Tomorrow im off on holiday to Faliraki, a small town on the island of Rhodes off Greece.
Im going for seven days by myself, and im just wondering how much spending money i should take. Would £500 be sufficient, for general things like food each day, and then the activities such as boat hire, jet ski, hire and maybe a night out?

Yes for 1 week £500 will be fine, i spent £800 in 2 weeks a few years ago and i was out every night partying 
Just limit a budget per day and make sure you stick to it. Most banks accounts charge to withdraw money so remember to take this into account. Also most hotels charge up to 60 euros for aircon so if you can manage the heat do not bother having it
Drink prices and food in general has risen due to the economy problems but stock your hotel fridge up with cheaper local beers and drinks, food aswel

Would you recommendd it to a young couple? We enjoy having means and going to bars, a nice beach and going on day trips?
go to kardamena in kos instead, been 6 times, lots of bars, a few clubs, great restaurants (captains is the best ) right on the beach, kos town is just a short bus trip and great for a day out, boats trips to a inactive volcanco, island hopping, volcanic pool, with supposed healing powers, kardamena is like an 18-30’s but without the chav’s as it caters for all, and most of all the people are fantastic.
I am going on holiday to zante on the 10th of July, and i have a job starting on the 18th of July in Rhodes island. Can anybody tell me what is the best way to get from zante to rhodes island?

the cheaper way is with ferry from Zante to Kyllini from there to Piraeus with bus and then with ferry to Rhodes
but if you don’t want to live an adventure!!! go with airplane from Zante to Athens and from Athens to Rhodes
I am taking a cruise to rhodes, greece in the summer and the ship will be docked for about the whole day. I was wondering which shore excursion I should go on Rhodes town and Lindos for a half day, rhodes town and filerimos hill, or a private tour to maximize the time.
Lindos is definitely worth a visit.
I’m planning on visiting Rhodes, Greece during the last week of March and was wondering if the weather should be warm enough to be able to swim.
It’s definitely too cold to swim in March.

Faliraki got a bad reputation a few years ago with the 18-30 club holidays and tv program, but the last 2 years it has been quieter and got more like it was before, yes it’s lively and a good place for fun, so you will have a great time there. as for the rest of the island of Rhodes……………….It’s a great place to see and enjoy, the Old Town, Lindos, etc they are worth the bus ride……………….Enjoy
