I’ve just come back from a holiday in Kos (Greek Island).

And I noticed that the bar staff and some of the waitresses working there weren’t Greek.
And they weren’t all specifically from one other country either.
There were people from Serbia, Romania and Czechoslovakia.

So I was just wondering how someone would get a job there? Because I’d really like to do something like that for a year or two.
Not specifically Greece but somewhere abroad and a common holiday destination.

You would have to contact a bar/hotel out there, and ask for a job. They would interview you online, and let you know whether you have a job or not. Also, if you went out at the start of the holiday season you would more than likely be offered a job as hotels/bars are always looking for staff at the start. And, it might sound lazy, but most countries know English, so you don’t actually need to learn another language. Honestly though, you would only be working during the holiday season, which is April-November, so you would probably have to come home after this time, as most of the holiday towns shut up completely.

Yes you must go to the hot springs volcano, but use public transport it is very cheap. the beach is also very good. Kos city is the best place tov stay very central and the transport system is good

I am going on holiday in three days to Kos in Greece.
It is going to be a family holiday and most the time we will be relaxing around the pool or down on the beach, but not everyday. So I was wondering what things is there to do, from ages 11-49?

Google Kos, but once you get there you can have a lot of fun especially as you will NOT be the only one in your generation there. Truth.

Has anyone ever stayed at kipriotis hippocrates?
We’ve booked to go there all inclusive and were wondering if there was a dress code during meal times?

The dress code during meal time at the hotel appears to be causal wear.

hello.
my cousin lives in greece and has just homed a 13 week old Newfoundland puppy (yes those HUGE water dogs!) anyway, she needs to toilet train him and fast! so she wants to try to crate train him but we need to know where to get a crate from in greece? she lives in KOS and they dont have any pet shops liek we do.
anyone know where she can get one

Other then going to Athens and getting one or having one shipped, there is no other way. Does Kos have an airport now, it has been a long time since I was there?

Ναι εχω επισκεφθει την Κω και εμεινα στο συγκροτημα Kypriotis village. Η θαλασσες ηταν εκπληκτικες, πεντακαθαρες, οι ανθρωποι φιλικοτατοι και ζεστοι και με εκαναν να νιωσω ευπροσδεκτος. Οσο για τα φαγητα ηταν εκπληκτικα για αυτο και γυρισα 2 κιλα περισσοτερα!
Το μονο που με δυσαρεστησε ητανε η οργανωση του αεροδρομιου απο το οποιο φυγαμε με 2 ωρες καθυστερηση.

Since the original plan that God had for us was rejected by Adam and Eve’s sin….the meaning of life is now to have a relationship with God, so that we will prepared for the completion of the plan he has in the works now.
