Yes Romans changed the names, but in Greece no matter where you where the Gods and Goddess generally went by the same names.

   You said yourself that the character Kratos claimed the title of God of War in a video game, not in any Greek Myth but a game based around what we call Greek Mythology.

    For those argueing Kratos is a video game character, yes, but some confuse his name with Kronos. (that may not be the correct spelling) Kronos was the Titan Lord and father to the Olympian Gods and Goddesses.

    I hope that settles that. Kratos = video game, the Titan his name is sometimes confused with however, Kronos = Titan Lord.

    Also this and the video on the Greek Goddess is excellent.

    However I wish I could find a video covering Hades (Lord of the dead) and the more minor gods.

    This is a horrible and over simplified explanation of the Greek gods and godesses, They completely missed Athena, Venus, Artemis, Demeter, and Hera and forgot some of the domains of some of the gods, including beauty and archery and literature for Apollo (Hephestus was NOT the god of archery) and earthquakes for Poseidon.

    And to answer your question vivalaresistanc, Hades and Helios were both major gods, but they were not Olympians.
