Im goin wondering what people think of the island

Faliraki got a bad reputation a few years ago with the 18-30 club holidays and tv program, but the last 2 years it has been quieter and got more like it was before, yes it’s lively and a good place for fun, so you will have a great time there. as for the rest of the island of Rhodes……………….It’s a great place to see and enjoy, the Old Town, Lindos, etc they are worth the bus ride……………….Enjoy

I want to go to Santorini, but where should I go? I am interested in Oia, but some people are saying Fira? Where should I go? Do you know any good hotels? Not too expensive, but not cheap? Good resturaunts? PLease Answer! Thanks

I would choose one of the neighborhoods near Fira, such as Firostefani & Imerovigli…
They are romantic spots, with out any noise from the clubs and bars but just ten minutes walking from the nightlife hotspots!
Oia is more picturesque but its far away from all the other interesting places of Santorini…

Okay I am a freshman and I am really depending on these answers. I tried Wikipedia and that sucked and I even tried Ancient-Greece.com and that didn’t have what I needed. Just the same as in every developed country. Doctors, IT Professionals, Lawyers, School Teachers, Farmers, Professional Drivers etc..

My fiance’ and I are trying to decide on a honeymoon and have narrowed it down to those 2. For people who want relaxation, romance, and a little adventure, which would be a better choice?
We will be visiting in October of next year.

France is simply superb and I will fully recommend to visit the country at least once.
But – the keywords are Honeymoon, relaxation, romance, and a little adventure!

In this case the latter option, the country of Greece is the winning one.

France is more for shopping, spending lots of your time in car travel in discoveries of hundreds castles, museums and chateau’s, which the country can offer.

The beach adventure in France is bit poor compare to the Greek standards.
It is but just my opinion and you must be the deciding party.
